USDA Organic Premium Sencha comes from the historically famous Shizuoka Prefecture area of Makinohara, where some of Japan's finest green tea leaves are grown and harvested. This tea has been grown, processed and packaged according to the strict guidelines of the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) and is certified organic. It has an unusually well-rounded flavor with hardly any grassy taste or bitterness, plus a slightly sweet after-taste that lingers.
